After being selected in 2019 to participate in the world’s largest technology and innovation conference, this year the Transfergest software will once again be present at the Web Summit, supported by the Road 2 Web Summit (R2WS) programme – developed by Startup Portugal, which, in its sixth edition, aims to reach 100 startups established in Portugal.
After two years of pandemic and after the shift to digital in 2020, the world’s biggest technology, entrepreneurship and innovation event returns to Lisbon between 1 and 4 November.
“Given the current circumstances, it is increasingly urgent to make the public aware of new faces that are making great strides towards a significant contribution to innovation, not only in the country but in the world. Integrated with the 100 Portuguese startups to represent Portugal in the Technology Summit, the presence of Transfergest software and the team responsible for its development as one of the Portuguese startups to attend the conference is a reason for extreme pride, not only for the development team but because the participation in the biggest stage of technological entrepreneurship represents a huge opportunity for these companies that are established in the Portuguese market, which as we know is too small to allow startups to evolve significantly”, says Carina Miguel, CEO of the company.
Transfergest Software, developed by the company oseubackoffice – Web Design, Software e Artes Gráficas, established in Albufeira, presents itself as a platform that facilitates the effective management of transfer companies and touristic transport.
The software presents a series of features linked to the daily operational management, so it claims to be a platform established in the epicentre of the national tourist activity.
“Being present, physically, for the second time at Web Summit, the largest European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, through the selection of the Road 2 Web Summit program of Startup Portugal, represents a clear opportunity to access an excellent network of contacts, enabling, on a large scale, networking and access to investors.”
Currently “and when it comes to Transfergest Software, we have the product developed, we have a portfolio of clients and now we need capital to leverage the growth of the software”.
“Our ultimate goal is, and will always be, to continue down the path to digitalisation and technological innovation for Tourist Transport Companies, not only in the Algarve region but also at a national level,” concludes the CEO.
